3.6 The Index finger and Thumb: The Proactive and Retroactive Brain.

THE BALANCE OF THE PROACTIVE AND THE RETROACTIVE BRAIN

By comparing the ridge count on your two thumbs versus your two index fingers we can understand the way your Brain Functions.

·      If the ridges on your left and right thumb are higher than the two index fingers, you can be seen to be an Executor with Proactive Functioning. You are hence, an executor. You are a people person with good management and planning skills. You are triggered by your thoughts and ideas and are also influenced by people and their expectations. Hence you take the initiative and act on your thoughts. You are proactive and social and hence quick to act.

·      If the ridges on your left and right index fingers are higher than the left and right thumb, you can be seen to be an Analyser with Retroactive Functioning. You are an analyzer. You tend to overthink various issues and hence never are able to make the right decision at the right time. Delayed decision-making and prolonged analysis is your strength and weakness. Being overly analytical and perfectionist makes you lose out on the quickness of action. Delay in timely action is a weak point.

·      When comparing the ridges on your left and right thumbs versus both the index fingers if they are both 50:50%, they are balanced and hence you can be seen to be both an Executor as well as an Analyser and are hence balanced in functioning. You have a very balanced brain functioning where you can be good at both analyzing and executing a task in total coordination. You have the ability to think over issues and make good decisions, at the same time good with management and planning skills too. You have the ability to both be slow in analytical thinking and quick to initiate. You have a very powerful brain.
